Sherman Gore, 69, of Camp Creek Road, Danville, WV passed away on March 13, 2015.
He was born February 28, 1946 and was a son of the late Everett and Alpha Brown Gore. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Donnie, CJ, Nancy Jones and Everett Gore, Jr.
He was a sales clerk at Danville Lumber and was a member of Uneeda Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.
He is survived by his daughter, Katrina Gore-Alawad and son-in-law, Idres Alawad; siblings, Margaret Stalker, Evelyn Jobe, Smitty Gore and Judy Collins; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Richard Runyon officiating. Burial will follow in Gomez Cemetery, Uneeda with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone Post VFW No. 5578 Madison, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
