Richard Darrell Tawney, 41, of Foster was born January 12, 1973 and passed away on February 10, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston.
He was a member of Rock Creek Church of Christ, Foster.
He is survived by his parents, Dana and Janice Tawney of Foster; his children, Richard Jr., Savannah and Chloe Tawney of St. Marys, WV; sisters, Vickie Robinette and Joyce Smith both of Foster and Rose Collins of Danville; two brothers, Kevin of St. Marys and Jonathan Tawney of Prenter; three uncles, Jerry Tawney of Danville, Herman Cabell and Billy Cabell of Foster; and nine nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 pm Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Rock Creek Church of Christ with Kevin Trivett officiating. Burial will follow in Tawney Cabell Cemetery, Foster.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
