Phyllis Kay Black

December 15, 1941 — February 17, 2015

Phyllis Kay Black, 73, of Chapmanville passed away February 17, 2015 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.

She was a homemaker; a 4-H Leader; and a T.O.P.S Coordinator. She was a member of Madison United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; three daughters, Jo Cooper of Hurricane, Becky Black of Charleston, SC and Lisa Black of Hurricane; two sisters, Linda Carnell of Greenbrier, Tennessee and Judy Auch of Williamstown, WV; and one granddaughter, Sarah Norman of Charleston, SC.

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor Stan Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
