Philip Ray Casto 73 of Hewett died August 11, 2015 at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, Huntington, WV.
Phil was preceded in death by his father, Girt Casto and was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his mother; Hazel Casto, of Hewett, sisters; Karen (Stanley) Dolin of Ottawa, and Ann (Frank) Smith of Morrisvale, daughter; Debra (Harry) Chambers of Foster, sons; Steven Casto of Houston, TX and Jonathan (Amanda) of Fort Stewart, GA, grandchildren; Nich (Jenna) Jeffrey of Alum Creek, Jillian Jeffrey of Lake and Sara Chambers of Foster, great grandchildren Logan Jeffrey and Kaylee Ball and Jonathan Ball.
The family would like to thank all those that prayed, called, visited and helped in any way during this sad time.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Rev. Jack Kinder officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Madison with military graveside rites by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578, Madison, WV.
Friends may call 6 to 8 Friday at the funeral home.
