Omal Harless

Omal Harless, 91, of Uneeda passed away February 18, 2015 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison.
She was born at Cameo, a daughter of the late Silas Hobert Hager and Lennie Pearl Adkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ezekiel Harless; sisters, , Anna Gay, Oletta and Ruby; brothers, Rex, Fleetwood, Sam and baby brother, Robert Westly; and granddaughter, Jessica Hicks.
She is survived by daughter Carol Woodrum and husband James of Uneeda where she made her home; son, Richard Harless of Clothier; foster son, Jessie Hicks of Portsmouth, Ohio whom she loved as her own son; one brother, Eulgene Hager of Ridgeview; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to Hubbard Hospice nurses. Special, special thank you to granddaughter Michelle Woodrum and great-granddaughter, Amber Harvey Garrett for all they did to help with our mother.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Larry Halley officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
