Movita Burgess Ellis Moore

Movita (Burgess) Moore, 83, of Kistler, WV passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at her home. She was born December 19, 1932 in Kistler to the late Martin Luther and Anna Lou Foley Burgess. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Robert Ray Ellis and husband Haskel Moore; brothers, Louie Earl Burgess and Larry Edward Burgess; sisters, Christine Reese and Levada Sanders; nephews, James Henry Reese and Luther Earl Hendricks; great-nephew, Christopher Michael Reese; niece, Sarah Lou Hendricks; and great niece Sarah Lou Hendricks.

She was a homemaker and a member of Abundant Life Worship Center, Logan, WV.

She is survived by a son, William Edward Bircher Jr. (Linda); sister, Sandra Lou Walls; granddaughters, Melinda Brooks (Jeff)and Billie Dawn Garbosky (Roy); great-grandsons, Seth Brooks, Zane Brooks and Cade Brooks; nieces, Regina Walls Clark (Todd), Wendy Walls Quattlebaum (Charles), Pamela Burr, Brooke Reese, Kim Kimler and Debbie Linville; nephews, Chris Beckwith, Jimmy Burgess, Kyle Burgess, Ancel Hendricks and Luther Earl Hendricks; great nieces, Jade Beckwith (Zac Robinson), Cori Burgess, Amber Burgess and Allison Kovac; great nephews, Baley Beckwith, Luther Hendricks, David Hendricks, Alan Hendricks, Steven Hendricks, Kevin Hendricks, Brandon Burr and Josh Reese; great-great-nephews, Conor Hendricks, Carson Hendricks, Colin Hendricks, Noah Hendricks, Brody Hendricks and Micha Hendricks; and caregivers and dear friends, Judy Adkins and Norma Osborne.

Service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, June 26 at Abundant Life Worship Center, Logan, WV with Gary Wilson Jr., Gary Wilson Sr. and Chris Beckwith officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until service time at the church.

Pall Bearers will be Todd Clark, Chris Beckwith, Jeff Brooks, Seth Brooks, Zane Brooks, Baley Beckwith, Roy Garbosky and Zac Robinson.
