Metta Marca "Meme" Hughes

Metta Marca Hughes (Meme), 85 of Danville passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 11th, 2017.
Metta , formerly of Barrett, was preceded in death by her parents William E. and Delphia Bradley, her husband Arnold Edward Hughes, her son Thomas Edward Hughes, her sister Maxine Jarrell and her brothers Boyce Merrill Bradley, Elbert Mansell Bradley and Marion Earl Bradley.
She is survived by her daughter Tyann Douglas (Robert) of Racine, her grandson John Adams (Melanie) of Danville, her beloved great grandson Austin Adams of Danville, her daughter-in-law Debbie Hughes of Wharton and her cherished niece Emma Jane Jarrell of Charleston.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 15th, 2017 at 2pm at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Shelia Workman officiating, visitation two hours prior to the service.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dignity Hospice of Chapmanville, WV for their support, compassion and care for Meme during recent months.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dignity Hospice PO Box 4304 Chapmanville, WV 25508.
