Marjorie Ann Mullins Javins

January 23, 1947 — February 23, 2015

Marjorie Ann Mullins Javins, 68, a lifelong resident of Peytona, passed away at home February 23, 2015 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was a faithful member of the Seth Church of Christ. She was formerly employed by the WV State School System and the WV Board of Medicine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Reginald and Ella Bates Mullins; brothers, Andy Mullins and Joseph Mullins; and sisters, Elizabeth Payne, Ruth Poling, Diane Kinder, Judith Arnett and Rose Halstead.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dannie Javins; son, Daniel (Karen) Javins and their three children, Ashley, Andrew and Alan Michael Javins; daughter, Shelley Javins; sister, Io Hunter; sister-in-law, Carolyn Miller Mullins; and a very special niece/daughter, Donna Cooper Briggs. She is also survived and loved by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A very special thank you to the Hospice Care Team members and the nursing staff of 3 West at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 28 at Seth Church of Christ, Seth with James Farley officiating. Burial will be in Barker Mullins Cemetery, Peytona.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
