Mae Dolin

Mae Dolin, 95, of Danville, WV went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2014 at Charleston General Hospital, Charleston, WV after a short illness.
She was born December 4, 1918 in Pike County, Kentucky and was a daughter of the late Sanford and Molly Baldridge Hampton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Dolin; and son, Herbert “Tom” Dolin of Danville.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Wright of Van, WV who was her caregiver for many years and Nancy Madden of Kettering, OH; daughter-in-law, Betty Dolin of Danville, WV; sisters, Lendell Setliff of Wharton, WV and Anna Boggs of Abingdon, VA; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mae was a lifetime member of Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church of Cross Lanes, WV. She will always be remembered by the quilts she sewed for family and friends and as a strong, beautiful and loving mother and grandmother as well as a favorite to many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Elder Lewis Johnson conducting services. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens at Low Gap, Madison, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
