Macel K. Miller, 80, of Madison, WV passed away Monday, September 5, 2016.
She was born February 10, 1936 and was a daughter of the late Cyril “Jim” and Hazel Holley Kessinger. She was also preceded in death by sister, Elizabeth “Peggy” Booth.
Macel was a school teacher and a Principal. She graduated from Duval High School as Valedictorian. She had a BS Degree from Morris Harvey College and a Masters Degree in Education from Marshall University. She was a public school educator for 36 years in Logan and Boone County.
She is survived by her husband, Freddie Miller; sons, Greg Miller of Alkol, WV and Michael G. Miller of Culloden, WV; and granddaughter, Chelsea Miller of Charleston, SC.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Tom Bias officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
