Lucy Green-Cook 83 of Quinland, WV departed this life to go to her heavenly home Wednesday May 21, 2014 at Bigson surrounded by her loved ones.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents Paulina and Tolbert Green, her husband Herman Cook, brother; Elijah Green, daughters; Charlene “Red” Cook, son; Timothy Wayne Cook and grandson; Matthew William Ray Cook.
Surviving are her sisters Irene Mann and Dolly Cantrell, brothers; Daniel (Marylin) Green, David Green and Benny Green, daughter; Linda Cook, sons; Sherman Cook and Ten Cook, grandchildren; David Wayne and Amanda Price, Ricky Dean Price, Chris Kuhn, Stacy and Matt Gagnon, Josh Kuhn, and Zack Kuhn, great grandchildren; Chris, Keavi and Jonathan Price, Drake and Jessie Price, Skylar, Matthew and Eli Gagnon, Christian and Wyatt Kuhn.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014, Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Pastor Mark Wheatley officiating. Burial will follow in Mid-Ferrell Cemetery, Bandytown, WV.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
