Lorene Jarrell, 91, of Madison died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Boone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danville.
She was born June 4, 1922 at Ottawa, WV and was a daughter of the late Ernest and Della Pauley Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Jarrell; and her daughter, Linda.
She was a homemaker and attended the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her sons, Dewey Jarrell of Madison, Joe Jarrell of Weston, Edward Jarrell of St. Albans and James Jarrell of Longboat, Florida; sisters, Majel of Florida and Violet Green of Madison; ten grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison. Pall bearers will be Johnny R. Webb, Bobby Gobble, Michael W. Jarrell, Daniel McKay, Christopher McKay and Brian Jarrell.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
