Linda Lee Gibson Arch

Linda Lee Gibson Arch, formerly of Wharton, Boone County, WV passed away unexpectedly at home in Morganton, North Carolina, January 9, 2015 of cardiac arrest.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Lee Gibson; her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Gibson; and brothers, Bennie and Gregory all of Wharton; and pet dog, Rosie.
Linda is survived by her husband Joe Arch of Morganton, NC; her mother, Annie Ruth Gibson of Wharton; sisters, Debbie (Carl) Smith and Louise (Charlie) Mode, both of Morganton and Tammy (Mark) Davis of Liberty, WV; brothers, Tim (Karen) Gibson of Tacoma, Washington and Steven (Laura) Gibson of Wharton; and pet cat, Shadow. She is also survived by three nieces; three nephews; two great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
Linda was a 1984 graduate of Van High School in Boone County. She loved sports, especially basketball and softball. She moved to North Carolina in 1987 where she worked for Hanes and Drexel Heritage companies until here passing. She will be missed by family, friends and co-workers in both North Carolina and West Virginia.
Interment will be at noon Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Workman Cemetery, Bald Knob beside her daughter Jennifer. The Rev. Scotty Elswick will be officiating.
