Kyrene Loftis Hill

Kyrene Loftis Hill, 91, of Danville went home to be with her Lord on August 27, 2013 after a long illness.
She was born in Lincoln County, March 31, 1922 to Jeff and Lula Loftis and was preceded in death by them; her husband, Johnnie Hill; her sisters, Eloise Graley, Joyce Frye and Gertrude Priddy; and one brother, Jack Loftis.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Janice (Richard) Tyree, Linda (Micky) Payne and Jonnie (Bob) Duty; one sister, Betty Perdue; and one brother, Lyle (Regina) Loftis. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Sherry Vincent, Kevin Hill and Dignity Hospice for their love and care.
Mrs. Hill was a long time member of Bible Baptist Church, Danville. She loved her Lord and practiced her faith every day. She was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor John Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Family and friends may gather from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bible Baptist Church, c/o Ladies Helping Hands, PO Box 261, Danville, WV 25053.
