Kenna "Kenny" Topping

Kenna Medley "Kenny" Topping, 75 of Huntington, WV passed away on January 31, 2016 at Huntington Health and Rehab.
He was born December 9, 1940 in Logan, WV a son of the late Fred and Florence Duty Topping. He grew up in Ranger, WV where he attended Midkiff Elementary and graduated from Guyan Valley High School in 1959. He is a veteran of the United States Army. Kenny spent most of his life working in the container board manufacturing industry and retired from Weyerhouser's Container Board Division.
He was also preceded in death by a son Frederick Direl Topping; brothers, Fred "John" Topping, Bill Topping, and Roland Topping.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Helen and Rodney Baker of West Hamlin, and Jennifer and Steve Smith of Georgia; brother Jeffrey Allen Topping and Lori Baker of Huntington; daughters, Kennita Ritton and family of West Hamlin, and Kimberly Topping Frasure; grandsons Tyler and Ryan Frasure of Chesapeake, OH; former wife and good friend, Lorareda "Gay" Price of Proctorville, OH; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday February 4, 2016 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Joey Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Sanders Cemetery, Ranger, WV with Military Graveside Rites by American Legion Post 111 of Hamlin, WV.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Thursday.
