Kelly Jo Hawks, of Maden, NC left this earth unexpectedly on January 26, 2015 at the Lakewood Care Center in Denver, NC where she was employed.
She was preceded in death by an aunt, Nyoka White of Gordon, WV.
She was born October 1, 1978 and was a daughter of Rhonda Hawks of Danville. She was a 1996 graduate of Van High School. Kelly Jo was an outgoing, loving person, loved by many, especially the elderly patients she cared for at the Care Center in NC. She will be missed by all those whose lives she influenced.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her companion Norman Gladden of Maden, NC; stepsisters Deanna of NC and Kim of WV; stepbrothers, Mike (Shelly) Hunter of KY and Eddie Hunter of Charleston, WV; grandmother, Bessie Hawks-Hackney of Wharton, WV; uncles, Bill Hawks of Wharton, WV, Curtis (Brenda) Hawks of Sophia, WV, Curtis Hawks of Claremont, NC and Dave Hawks of Danville, WV; and a host of other family and friends.
A “Celebration” of her life will be held at the Barrett Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 12:00 P.M.
