Joyce Rowe Vickers, 75, of Wharton, WV passed away December 21, 2013.
She was born June 23, l938 in Twilight, WV and was a daughter of Tom and Hattie Rowe. She was a Christian. She was preceded in death by Tommy Rowe, Janice Rowe Markins, Terry Carl Rowe, and Rosemary Rowe.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Vickers; her sons, Tim Rowe of San Diego, CA and Jeff Vickers of Akin, SC; daughter, Krystal Vickers Chapman of Foster; brothers, Noel Rowe of Gordon, Jewell Rowe Hutton of Rutland, Ohio, Sue Rowe Hastings of Uneeda, Jimmy Rowe of Price Hill, Linda Rowe Moore of Madison, Phillip Rowe of Gordon, and Terry Ray Rowe of Rutland, Ohio; and seven grandchildren, Carrie Rowe, Amanda Chapman, Billy Vickers, London Vickers, Timothy Chapman, William Chapman and Josh Rowe.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with the Rev. Phil Rowe and David Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville,WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
