Jimmie Ray Skeens

Jimmie Ray Skeens, 63, of Midkiff, WV went to be with his Lord on Sunday January 12, 2014. He was born at Logan General Hospital January 16, 1950, a son of the late Edward Skeens and Verlena McComas Skeens.
Jimmie leaves behind his wife of 41 years Connie Adkins Skeens; one son Jimmie Skeens Jr. (Ashley Dawn) of Pleasant View, WV; four grandchildren, William Tyler and Kandas Michelle Skeens, Jordan Ray and Billy Hayden Skeens; three sisters, Carolyn Adkins (Robert), Vanessa Price (Kenneth), Debbie Pritchard (Larry); two brothers, Michael Skeens (Trish), Douglas Skeens (Debbie).
Jimmie was a member of Four Mile Church of Christ and lived a good christian life. He was retired from the Lincoln Board of Education as a bus driver. He will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Jason McComas, Eddie McComas and Smoky Hager officiating. The burial will follow in the Skeens Cemetery, 9 mile road, Midkiff, WV. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
