Janice Harshbarger 75 of Cazy died July 25, 2015 at Boone Memorial Hospital.
She was an active member of Gordon Union Church and VFW Post 5578 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bobby, daughter Carol Halstead, brother Roger Jarrell, Sr. and nephew Roger Jarrell, Jr. and parents Chubby and Mildred Jarrell.
She is survived by sons, Tony (Valda) of Lake, and Timmy (Tina) of Wharton; a daughter; Amy (David) Price of Jeffrey, sister; Nadine Hobbs (Jack) of Huntington, sister in law; Barbara Jarrell of Culloden, grandson; Albert Halstead (Sharon) of Maryland, Jeff Halstead (Heather) of Wyoming, Justin Abernathy (Krysia) of South Carolina, Loren Harshbarger of Wharton, granddaughters; Sara Fuller (Jeremy) of Ohio, and Randi Price of Ottawa, great grandchildren; Trenton & Megan Halstead of Ohio, Ian and Kylie Halstead of Wyoming, Kayson and Remmington Abernathy of South Carolina Hunter Harshbarger of WV, and Olivia Collins, nephew; Sammy Hobbs (Missy) of Ohio and a niece; Vivian “Peach” Jarrell of Kansas, foster children; Kenny Javins of Bulger Rd, Quincy Javins of Foster and J. L. Mathena of Uneea, and a host of friends.
The family would like to say a huge thank you to the staff of Boone Memorial Hospital for all their love and care.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Matt Johner and Phil Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
