Jackie Lee Brown, 49, of Nitro, WV went home to be with Jesus on November 14, 2013.
He was born March 5, 1964 in Madison and was a son of the late Roy and Ellen Brown of Ottawa.
Jackie grew up in Boone County with most of his life spent in and around the Ottawa area. About 13 years ago Jackie and his mother moved to the Nitro area and in 2005 they moved in with his sister Sandra and her husband of Nitro who then became Jackie's guardians for the past three years.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Jimmy (Michelle) Brown of Red House, WV; sister, Sandra (Sean) Eads of Nitro, WV; nieces and nephews, Michael (Paige) Bartram, Marissa Bartram, Jessica Tackett, Chris (Gwen) Eads, Josh Eads, Hannah Eads, Matthew Brown and Kristin Cote; and many family members and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with James Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery, Clothier, WV.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
