Irene Marie Doss

Irene Marie Doss, 94, of Seth passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. She was born July 28, 1921 and was a daughter of the late Eugene and Lettie Massey Doss. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Doss; daughters, Anna Belle Hensley and Shirley Green; and sons, Robert Doss and Freddy Doss.
She is survived by daughters, Beatrice Canterbury of Foster and Thelma Burns of Seth; sons, Buddy Doss of Seth, Osher Doss of Danville, David Doss of Seth, Lawrence Doss of Costa and Lester Doss of Prenter; two sisters; and two brothers.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 22 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Phil Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Mountain Cemetery, Williams Mountain.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
