Ira Lorene Price

Ira Lorene Price, born December 22, 1936, passed away after a short illness at CAMC General Division Hospital in Charleston, WV on Monday January 6, 2014 at the age of 77 years and 15 days.
She is the daughter of the late Basil and Nora Hager of Spurlockville, WV. Ira was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Price and a brother Randall Hager.
Ira is survived by five children; Lisa(Dave) Owens, Jr., Harold Alan Price (Michelle Searls), Peggy Ann Price, Danny (Charlotte) Price, Denita Price and a step-son Harold Glenn (Mary) Price.
She is survived by fourteen grandchildren; Shayla, Casey Jo, and Hunter Owens; Damian, Jerrod, Maggie and Maddie Price; Danny and Lexi Price; Ashely Price and Josh Lovejoy and Sarah, Gregory and Cody Price. She is also survived by two great grandchildren; Ganan Linville and Blake Swan.
Ira is survived by three sisters; Freda (Raymond) Adkins, Gail (Cam) Thompson, Wanda (Ancil) Bishop, and five brothers; Gerald (Mary) Hager, Erman (Donna) Hager, Ricky (Rosie) Hager, Timmy (Joyce) Hager, and David (Patty) Hager. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
Ira was a member of the Church of Christ at Spurlockville, WV. She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting and researching antiques.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday January 11, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV with Brian Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at Barker Cemetery in Spurlockville, WV. Viewing will be an hour prior to the funeral service.
