Golden Dwayne Adkins, 53, born April 10, 1963 in Lincoln County left this world December 31, 2016. He is the son of Maxine Adkins and the late Roy Adkins.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Adkins; a son Kevin Adkins (Danielle) of Branchland, and Ashley Adkins of Branchland; two sisters Juda Adkins of Branchland and Betty Adkins; one brother, Roy Lee “Buzzie” (Jody) Adkins of Midkiff; and a host of nieces and nephews; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Gerald McComas, Donna Webb, Darrell McComas , Lora Stapleton, Teresa Berry.
He was employed by Lincoln County Board of Education as a bus driver for 21 years.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday January 6, 2017 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in the McComas Family Cemetery, Napier Fork Rd., Branchland, WV.
A visitation will be Thursday January 5 from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
