Freddie Joe Miller

Freddie Joe Miller, beloved husband, father and grandfather went home to be with the Lord on June 4, 2013.
He was born to the late Fred and Gladys Miller on July 23, 1939. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rose Mary Workman; grandson-in-law, Michael Adkins Jr.; and three children, Moses, Patricia and Ann.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Miller; one step-son, Johnny Roberts; four daughters, Debby Clark, Darlene and Jimmy Workman, Sherry Workman and Rose and Clyde Bender; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Pineview Freewill Baptist Church at Big Ugly. He loved life and traveling. He also loved animals, especially his dog, Buttons. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Services will be 11 a.m. June 7 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Ernest Neace officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Harts.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
