Franklin "Dee" Rose

April 2, 1933 — April 30, 2015

Franklin “Dee” Rose, of Ottawa formerly of Hurricane, born April 2, 1933 passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2015. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in Cleveland, Ohio and was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his loving companion Janice Hager and her children, Rhonda, Jenifer and Greg; sister, Liz Parsley; grandchildren, Dawn (Clinton) Jordan and Larry (April) Clark; great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Seth Jordan and Morgan and Ethan Clark; and a host of family and friends.

Heartfelt thanks to Dignity Hospice of Chapmanville for their care and support.

Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578, Madison, WV.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
