Esther Dean, 62, of Midkiff, WV passed away Sunday April 12, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center.
She was born June 18, 1952 in Lincoln County, WV a daughter of the late Harold Marcum and Naomi Stephenson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Alvis Dean; and a brother William "Bill" Stephenson.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Benny and Jeanine Dean of Culloden, WV; one daughter and special friend, Garnett "Sissy" Dean and Deb Chaney of Midkiff, WV; four grandchildren, Ashley Dean, Vashatai Dean, Martin "Bub" Williamson, Alvis "Bubby" Dean and his wife Kayla; four great-grandchildren, Kalie, Brandon, Candra, and Braylee; two sisters, Diann Kelley, and Gloria Stephenson; two brothers, Sonny Marcum, and Larry Stephenson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Harry Adkins and Jim Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Warrick Cemetery, Branchland, WV.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
