Eric DeWayne Legg 48 of Twilight, WV died May 12, 2014, due to a tragic mining accident.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Sybil McClure and Shell Legg, Hazel Hoosier and Carl Elswick and his mother; Janice Kay Legg.
Eric is survived by his father; Robert (Bobby Jo) and Vonna Legg, his brother; Timothy Ray Legg, sister; Kacie Jo Legg Atha, his fiancé Denise Williamson, his children; Jesika Ann Legg, Jacob Tyler Legg, and Morgan Denise Legg, stepchildren; Hannah Beth Johnson and Colton Scott Vint, grandchild; Boston Reese Legg, nephews Colton Legg and Avery Atha, great niece; Rylea Katherine Legg, friend Rodger Stover and several other close friends.
Eric was a hard working man, who loved his family, hunting, and being outdoors. He will be remembered and missed by many.
Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday, May 17, 2014 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Scotty Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
