Eloise Brunty 84, of West Hamlin, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday March 6, 2017.
She was born March 10, 1932, a daughter of the late Dow and Lilly Burgess Adkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband Carl Brunty; son Butch Brunty; son-in-law Rick Morrison; brothers Danajarrell Adkins, and Dallas Adkins; and a sister Judith Swims.
She is survived by her daughter Rose Morrison (Mike); son, Doug Brunty (Dee); daughter-in-law, Vicki Brunty; sisters, Joyce Jones, and JoHelen Adkins; grandchildren, Jay Morrison (Val), Josh Brunty (Sarah), Tyler Brunty (Tabetha), and Kelsie Brunty (Michael); great granddaughters, Emma Brunty, and Avery Brunty; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday March 9, 2017 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Kevin Shull officiating. Burial will follow at Ray Cemetery, West Hamlin, WV.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Thursday.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the Emma Jean Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington for all their loving comfort and care.
