Dexter L. Porter, 51, of West Hamlin went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 4, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Ann.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; His father Sherrill (Pauline); brothers and sisters Linda, Ernest (Ann), Arthur (Carolyn), Charlene, Mitzi (Jim), Kim, Chad (Stephanie); a special nephew Brogan and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, hunting buddies, co-workers, church family and many many friends, whom he cared for deeply.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV with his Pastor and dear friend, Joey Ferguson officiating. The burial will follow in the Green Valley Cemetery, Branchland, WV.
A visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Friday at the funeral home.
