Connie Sue Martin Vogel, 79 of Alkol, WV died peacefully at home surrounded by family, under the wonderful care of Dignity of Hospice on November 11, 2017.
She was born August 30, 1938 at Sharples, WV and was a daughter of the late Ruby Maxwell and Sebert Martin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Jean Jeffrey; husbands, Jack Mitchem and John Vogel.
She was a caregiver and a member of Coal Valley Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Robin (Mark) Scheper of Delaware, and Amy (Richard) Jeffery of Alkol; two grandsons, Bobby Glace and Michael Jeffery; three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Logan, and Miss Harper; and four sisters, Loretta Slusher, Junie Lafferty, Janie Wallen, and Donna Buckner.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville WV with Ginger Dials officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
