Chester Sylbert "Dit" White Jr.
December 17, 1974 — May 3, 2022
Chester Sylbert White Jr. “Dit” was born December 17, 1974 and unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents Brenda White and Chester White whom he loved tremendously.
Chester truly didn’t meet a stranger, he loved everyone. He loved football, his steelers, and proud to help with coaching Van Midget League.
He is survived by two children, Erica Dawn Green of Fergus Falls, MN and Bryson Hunter White of Charlotte, NC; sister, Jenny and Neil Boggess of Van, WV; brothers, Kenny and Nancy of New Port, WV and Terry and Julie Smith of Kannapolis, NC; nieces, Brittany White of Wharton, WV, Alexis Smith of Kannapolis, NC, Kirsten Boggess of Van, WV, Kaylee Boggess of Van, WV and Faith White of New Port, WV; nephews, Jarrod Smith of Kannapolis, NC, Isaiah White of New Port, WV and Justin White of Wharton, WV.
He truly will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 at Mid Ferrell Cemetery, Bandytown. Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
