Carlene “Genevieve” White 85 of Madison WV died at Boone Memorial Hospital August 29, 2013.
She was born August 18, 1928 in Bandytown, WV to the late Jessie Satis Jeffrey Walker and Kemeth Eugene Walker. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward White, and two sisters Kerlene Means and Nella Jane Thompson and a brother Kenneth O. Walker.
She left behind her two daughters, Elvonna (Jack) Bowyer of Madison, and Dorita(Russell) King of Bloomingrose; sons, Teddy Ray White of Bald Knob and Steve (Linda) Burns of Cazy, WV; grandchildren, Jennifer Cales, Melinda McDerment, Carlene Atkins, Stephanie Morris, Rhonda Green, Jeremy Burns, Dustin White and Bill Robinson; great grandchildren, Russell and Randall Atkins, Cade and Tyler Morris, Trinity Burns and Alana McDerment, Patrick Green, and Corey Robinson; brothers, Carven (Margaret) Walker of Columbia, MD, Carlyn Doodle Walker of Bradley, WV and Orsel (Patty) Walker of West Madison,WV.
Special thanks to everyone who made Mom’s last days more comfortable.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Henry Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
