C. David Hess

Dr. C. David Hess, 64, of West Henrietta, NY passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at Strongs Hospital, Rochester, NY.
He was a graduate of Williamson High School, Berea College, Masters of Divinity and Doctorate of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as pastor while in Seminary at Mt. Herman Baptist Church and also served in Kutawa, Ky, Glenwood, New Jersey and Hamilton, NY before going to West Henrietta.
He was preceded in death by his mother Othell Hess; and niece Jill Hess.
He is survived by his father, Charles E. Hess of Danville; brother, Gary Hess (wife Marsha); nephew, Chad Hess (wife Tiffany); niece, Jan Miller(husband Derek); great-niece, Lacey; and great-nephews, Sawyer, Charlie and Waylon.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 at Madison United Methodist Church, Madison WV with Dr. Frank Frye officiating.
