Bessie Mae Hatfield 76 of Danville, WV passed away June 3, 2017 CAMC Hospital, Charleston, WV.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Church and will always be remembered for her love of God, her family, church, church family and her sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Allen and Mary Mounts Harmon and siblings; Jesse, Rayvon, Okey, James, Jimmy, Allen, Jr., Billy, Earl, Allie, Nellie Spence, Dora Tothe, Ralph Harmon, and Gertrude (Tootie) Booth.
She is survived by her daughter; Crissy (Kevin)Workman of Danville, sisters; Wada Harmon of Lancaster, OH, and Dorothy Parsons of Logan, grandchildren; Scott Hensley, Tyler Hensley and Kendra Workman all of Danville, and great grandchildren; Kylea and Daniel Hensley of Danville, special friend; Irene Quick, great niece; Jamie Bryant and several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Lonnie Gore and Melvin Meade. Burial will follow Highland Memory Gardens, Godby Heights, WV.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Workman, Scott Hensley, Tyler Hensley, Charlie Thompson, Chris Thompson and Chandler Thompson.
