Anthony James Sykes born February 2,1962 went home to be with the Lord July 21, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Lida Bell Stafford and his grandfather Anthony James Bressi.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved sports, Nascar, and walking in the beautiful WV woods.
He is survived his fiancé; Kathy Savalli, mother and father; Betty and Ray Blaylock, daughter; Nicole Sykes, sons; Anthony (Dayna) and Dino Sykes, sister; Jerri Ann (Dale)Ray, brother; Robert (Angela) Blaylock, and two special brothers; Jackie Kirk and Andy Adkins, grandchildren; Cameron, Alexia and Aria, nephews; Joe, Zack and William, niece; Brittani, and great niece Philisity Rose, and many more friends and family.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Jim Turley officiating. Burial will follow in Family Cemetery, Ridgeview.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
