Alpha Harless

Alpha Harless, Jr., 76, of Foster, WV passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House.
Alpha was born September 3, 1940 at Dicks Creek, Boone County, WV and was the son of the late Alpha and Nora Harless. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clinton Harless, Noah Harless, William Harless; and one sister, Marie Lovejoy Harless.
Alpha enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, he also enjoyed being a mechanic.
Those left to cherish his memory include his, brother and sister and their spouses Wilbert and Eliza Harless of Foster, and Deloris Annie and Charles Bayes from Camp Creek; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Military graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 22 in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV with Gary Durham officiating.
