During Denise's early adulthood she was a dental hygienist, working under Dr. Atkins. After some time she decided to become a home maker. Later in adulthood she would sell House of Lloyd and Avon products, which is how many remember her. She still has some of the awards she won during her tenure as a saleswoman. She was a member of the Madison Baptist Church. Her biggest accomplishment was that she took great pride in raising her children; being actively involved in Madison Grade's PTA, spending time as President, among many, many other school related activities. She would be at every game her kids played and would be at any function they were involved in. By many of her children's friends, they also considered her a mother. To those that knew her, she was a kind person who worried and cared about those close to her. She spent much of her life wanting to care for others.
Some of her hobbies included going to flea markets, going to yard sales, deal hunting, and gardening. She took great pride in finding good deals as well as having successful gardens, spending many hours working out in the sun. Denise was also a lover of pets, having many loved ones along her journey.
From those of us left here without you, we love you and dearly miss you. Rest easy, and we hope we can see you again someday.
